British versions prestigious award for break through in anaesthesia

We have a lot to thank John Glen for in his advances of anaesthesia. Thanks to him the drug propofol is one of the most commonly used injectable anaesthetic agents. It is the main we use ourselves at the surgery to induce anaesthesia thanks to its quick acting properties and advantages to the recovery period. Thankfully patients wake up very well after using propofol and generally have a smooth recovery. Read more on our anaesthetic here.

John is now the prestigious receptiant of the Lasker award. One of the first British veterinarians to win it. Read more here
